Singer Rihanna has lost a lot of friends over the past few years because they became jealous of her. The ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker reveals that she had learnt to cope with the emotion from an early age, for she lost friends in school, when they became resentful that she had won a beauty pageant.
She says, "When I was in school, I lost a lot of my friends to jealousy, when I won a beauty pageant, Contact music quoted her, as saying. And, things only got worse when she grew up, for when she signed with her record label, the 19-year old lost even more pals because of the green-eyed monster."
When I signed my record label it got worse. People were very envious, she revealed.
